Product knowledge
On a shade card, most polyester tape looks the same. The difference shows up on the third wash, or the day someone hangs 80 kg from a bag handle. Here is what we control.
We use 1100 dtex high-strength yarn. Cheap tape often hides weaker recycled yarn inside, which you cannot see from outside. This one thing decides how much weight the tape will take — and it is the easiest place to cut corners.
Our looms knit a lock along the edge of the tape. Cut it anywhere and the edge still holds. That is why bag and harness makers can cut it to length right on the floor, without a hot knife.
Polyester loosens when it gets hot. We heat every lot at 180 °C first, so the tape holds its size when you press it. Shrinkage stays under 1%.
We dye at 130 °C under pressure, so the colour goes inside the yarn instead of sitting on top. It scores grade 4–5 for washing, rubbing and sunlight. We test every lot, not once a year.
Wherever the dyeing machine allows it, we dye your whole order in one go. When an order is split into two batches, the two lots never match exactly — and no amount of checking fixes that afterwards.
The test certificate, the approved colour reference and the OEKO-TEX declaration go along with the invoice. Your buyer's audit team will ask for them, so they are already in the box.

The breaking strength shown is for the widest size in each range, tested by the ASTM D5035 method. Width can vary by ±0.5 mm and weight by ±5%.

We do not keep colours on a shelf. You send a Pantone number, or just a piece of the tape you use today, and we match it. The whole order is dyed in one batch, so the last metre is the same shade as the first.
You do not have to design around whatever width your last supplier happened to have. Tell us the width you actually want and we set the loom to it. An odd size costs the same as a round one.
Twill is thicker and softer than plain tape, and it does not cut into the hand when it is pulled tight. That is why bag handles, rucksack straps and belt tape are almost always twill.
Thicker yarn, packed much tighter, with a coloured line woven in so your floor can tell the grade apart at a glance. This is the one for safety harness, lifting slings and cargo straps.
This is the tape at close range. The yarn sits tight and even right across the width. A loose weave feels softer in the hand, but it stretches under load and frays the moment you cut it.
This only happens when the tension is right on the loom and again on the winder. It is the difference between a roll that runs a full shift and one that jams your machine halfway through.
Wound flat on a paper core, and firm enough to stand on its edge without slumping. A roll wound like this feeds straight into your machine — no twist, no snag, no operator untangling it.
25 m, 50 m or 100 m to a roll — whatever suits your line. The rate per metre is the same either way, and shorter rolls are quicker for the operator to change over.
For retail packs we cut, coil and box the tape ourselves. Every carton carries the colour, the width and the length on the label, and the QC sheet for that lot goes in with it.
A tape is only useful if it holds the fitting. We can send it plain on the roll, or cut to length, folded and stitched to your D-ring or buckle, ready to go straight on to the product.
The tape has to hold a buckle without stretching, stay flat under the clip, and not fray where it was cut. Those are the three things we check on every lot before it is packed.
Bags and luggage, footwear, apparel trims, safety gear and furniture. Different jobs, but the same tape — only the width, the weave and the colour change.

You get a proforma invoice with the rate, quantity, delivery date and GST. We start the order once the 50% advance is paid.
We book the looms, dye the order in one batch, heat-set it and wind it to your roll length. We send photos while it is running.
We test the strength and the colour, pack it with the packing list and e-way bill, and put the certificates inside the carton.
